Zespół AC/DC przygotował dla swoich fanów niezwykła niespodziankę. 10 listopada do sklepów trafi wydawnictwo zatytułowane Backtracks. Ten wielopłytowy zestaw przyniesie zbiór mało znanych i często niedostępnych nagrań formacji. Backtracks będzie dostępny w dwóch wersjach, jako specjalny zestaw, w skład którego będą wchodzić trzy płyty CD, dwie płyty DVD, płyta winylowa oraz 164 stronicowy album. Ta edycja, będzie przygotowana w formie wielkiego pudła w kształcie wzmacniacza gitarowego, z logo zespołu. Jeśli chodzi o płyty CD, pierwsza przyniesie studyjne nagrania z drugich stron singli oraz nagrania i inne wersje utworów z australijskich wydań pierwszych płyt AC/DC. Pozostałe dwie płyty, to zbiór rozsianych wcześniej na singlach nagrań koncertowych. Zaś co do płyt DVD, pierwsza zatytułowana Family Jewels Disc 3, jest dopełnieniem wydanego w 2005 roku dwupłytowego zestawu. A więc tym razem dostaniemy zbiór teledysków, od filmowego Big Gun, po te promujące album Black Ice. Uzupełnią je alternatywne wersje kilku klipów, obecnych już na oryginalnym Family Jewels. Drugi dysk DVD Live At The Circus Korone przyniesie zapis występu AC/DC z 2003 roku. Zaś co do płyty winylowej, znajdzie się na niej wybór studyjnych unikatów z pierwszej płyty CD. A wspomniany album jest zbiorem archiwalnych i często nieznanych fotografii zespołu z okresu całej kariery. Całość uzupełni także zbiór starych gadżetów (jak znaczków, zdjęć, zmywalnego tatuażu, kostki do gitary czy banknotu 100 dolarowego z podobizną Angusa). W tej pełnej edycji Backtracks można już zamawiać za… bagatela269 USD. Dla tych którzy nie mają potrzeby posiadania całość, w sklepach pojawi się także wersja standardowa, ograniczona do dwóch płyt CD (druga z wyborem nagrań koncertowych) i jedną płytą DVD (Family Jewels Disc 3).
